Sedimentary Characteristics Research Of Reservoir Of The Permian Wutonggou Formation In The East Slope Of Jimusaer Depression

The east slopes of Jimusaer depression is the one focus of prospective exploration targets for Zhundong Oil Production Plant,it shows good exploration prospect. But integrity and systematic study on Reservoir petrology and Sedimentary characteristics of Wutonggou formation were poor,which ere also a lot of controversy, Sedimentary facies,types and spatial distribution of sand body,sequence stratigraphy and so on.On the basis of previous research,comprehensive utilization of seismic and well logging data, Wutonggou formation was divided into upper and lower (P3wt1 and P3wt2) by use of strata correlation method,isopach contrast method,sedimentary cycle comparison method and other methods from the actual production needs of oil field. on the basis,there are ten stratigraphic correlation sections completed,which is a goog foundation for further research.Comprehensive studied the sandstone composition,compositional maturity,heavy minerals, formation thickness, percentage of glutenite other characteristics,the target formation's Provenance in zhe study area was analyzed. During the deposition of the lower Wutonggou formation, there are two main directions of the source: southeast and the northeast. while during the deposition of the upper Wutonggou formation, there are only one main directions of the source:southeast, in addition, the direction of ji26 well was the secondary direction. in addition, the direction of ji26 well was the secondary direction.Sedimentary facies marks were established through the core observation particle size analysis,sieve residue log data,well logs and seismic characteristics. Combined with analysis of single well facies and profile correlation,depositional system of the target formation was alluvial fan-braided river delta-lacustine,furtherly,which were divided delta plain,delta front,prodelta or shore shallow lake and arm of lake,and had developed a variety of microfacies. based on this, Graphic distribution map of the lower and upper segment of Wutonggou formation's sedimentary facies were plotted.According to well tie profile correlation, formation thickness, percentage of sandstone,percentage of mudstone and other features.According to previous findings on the target layer,including the conditions oil source and seal-transportation,Structural Features,accumulation analysis and so on,reservoir characteristics had been analysised.the result were that favorable reservoir sandbody existed in the delta front subfacies distributary channel,which existed in Structural high position of the study area.finally, the lower and upper segment of Wutonggou formation's favorable target areas had been drawed,which point to the direction of further exploration and development.
