East Qinling area is one of China's major molybdenum deposits as an important component in the east Qinling mountain—Dabie mountain molybdenum metallogenic belt. Since the 1950s, the region has successively been found more than 30 large or super-large molybdenum deposits, including Jinduicheng, Huanglongpu, Nannihu—Sandaozhuang, Yechangping, Donggou and Leimengouect and numerous molybdenum ore bodies, which have a large of region minerogenetic or diagenesis-metallogenicgeological background and ore-contorlling structure environment.In the research, the east molybdenum ore metallogenic region will be regarded as a whole unit to be considered at first. With the comprehensive analysis of previous results, especially the recent geologic achievements of the Jinduicheng, Shijiawan and Dashigou molybdenum deposit. Combine with some of the author's geological knowledge which acquired in the molybdenum deposit exploration, This paper is considered the Molybdenum mineralization as clues, and based on the guidance of tectonic-magmatic-fluid mineralization system, we study characteristics deposits and the geological factors. The following are the main results:(1) The time-space distribution of deposit is restricted with regional structure and Mesozoic magmatism. strata is not influence of molybdenum deposit, but decided types of molybdenum. Ore-forming fluids related to the intermediate-acid Mesozoic magmatism system.(2) Deep and regional structures is favorable conditions to form molybdenum deposits, which are propitious to the intrusion and perching of deep magma and ore-bearing thermal fluid. Those factors make it possible to form molybdenum deposits belt in eastern Qinling region. Ore-body and deposits are mainly controlled by the EW structures.(3) Based on collection of regional geological data and detailed field geological work, we put over three mineralization prospective area:Huaxian ban chagou forming section,Huaxian shang chagou forming section and Bayuan-Luoyuan forming section in the southeast of Laoniushan intrusion.
