In the large tension winding process of isotope separator bowl of nuclear fuel centrifugal machine with composite materials, filament unwinding is the absolutely necessarily tache. The unwinding movement may lead to the damage of fibers wear when yarn-pulling direction is inconsistent with winding pattern of the unwinding point, and in the case of the same angle, the larger fiber tension, the more serious damage of fibers wear. For the new generation centrifugal machine applied with carbon fibers, the fiber damage is more serious because of its high modulus, brittleness and poor abrasion resistance. This project aimed at the large tension winding process of isotope separator bowl of nuclear fuel centrifugal machine with carbon fibers and designed a low-damage unwinding following control system to solve the problem of fiber damage. The main works in this paper are as follows:(1) By analyzing the case of fiber damage and the improvement mechanism, a control strategy of thread-guide adaptive following and an engineering solution of low-damage unwinding are proposed. The closed-loop follow-up control system, with PLC as the main controller, the industrial control computer as the upper-host, servo-electromotor as the actuator, is equipped with yarn-pulling direction following equipment for angle feedback.(2) According to the modularization requirements and control functions, this paper developed a PLC control program, an upper-host control program and an intercommunion control program.(3) According to the system design requirements and process conditions, a physics experiment platform was set up for a series of experimental debugging for verifying the correctness of the method and the feasibility of the system.Practical application showed that the method is feasible, the results of the following system are satisfactory, the damage of fibers wear is eliminated effectively and the quality of composite isotope separator bowl of centrifugal machine is improved.
