Geomagnetic Matching Navigation(GMN) is a new navigation approach to take advantage of geomagnetic field characters, which is satisfied with the navigation demand for the especial carrier, and has good performance in hiding itself, is used in broad field, has simple structure but reliably and independence entirely. As an important component of the Geomagnetic Matching Navigation System(GMNS), Geomagnetic Matching Navigation Algorithm(GMNA) is an important factor to influence the navigation precision. The research emphases is GMNA in this paper.Firstly, some basic theories of the geomagnetic field are studied. The distribution rule of the geomagnetic field is analyzed by means of studying the international reference geomagnetic field model IGRF-2005: the high-lever geomagnetic filed model with high precision, the variety of geomagnetic intensity is prominent with the latitude variety, but inconspicuous with the longitude variety, the geomagnetic intensity is decrease with the increasing altitude. The area geomagnetic field model is studied based on the study of the international geomagnetic model, and the area geomagnetic field is built via the cubic polynomial.Then, GMNS is studied. The technology of reconstruction of geomagnetic map and the choice of the geomagnetic adapted district, which influenced the achievement of GMN, are studied. the Kriging method is introduced to the technology of reconstruction of geomagnetic map, the results indicate that the Kriging method can increase the resolving power of the geomagnetic map, which is favorable for the geomagnetic matching navigation. the statistical character selected method and the entropy selected method are introduced to choosing the geomagnetic adapted district. Simulation results show that the entropy selected method has low computational cost and better general performance, can compare the geomagnetic adapted with different orientation in the same area, and has better applications.Next, the select of geomagnetic matching parameter is researched, results with different matching parameter are compared, the conclusion that the result with I and D is the best is educed. GMNA based on point is studied, which is unsatisfied with the real-time due to the long time of position.Last, Addressed to the problem which exists in GMNA based on point, GMNA based on the vector is proposed, which is satisfied with the real-time needed to the navigation system. The former two navigation algorithms are both based on the single point, which makes them have the co-efficiency: the matching is not unique. Taking into account of this, the GMNA based on the Monte Carlo is brought out, which is on the basis of the line, and can overcome the efficiency by means of the constriction among the points.
