We mainly studied novel photoelectric effect in metal(-oxide)-semiconductor structures, i.e. the lateral photovoltaic effect and bipolar resistance effect.In chapter one, we introduce the background and application of lateral photovoltaic effect and bipolar resistance effect. In chapter two, we introduce the fabrication of metal-semiconductor and metal-oxide-semiconductor structures and the measurement of lateral photovoltaic effect and bipolar resistance effect. In chapter three, we introduce the principle, experiment and theoretical model of lateral photovoltaic effect. In chapter four, we introduce the 2D lateral photovoltaic effect. In chapter five, we introduce the principle, experiment and theoretical model of bipolar resistance effect. In chapter six, we introduce the offset bipolar resistance effect. In chapter seven, we conclude all of our works in this paper.
