YingQiong Basin is the main natural gas resourses in the south sea of China, and the prevalent overpressure and high temperature characteristics impact the process of gas exploration severely. The accurate formation pressure prediction before drill will ensure drilling safety and efficiency as well as effective protecting oil-bearing formation, but because abnormal formation overpressure factors and complex formation mechanism in this area, the drilling data of forecasting application is generally limited which resulting in unaccurate prediction and monitoring. Ths paper put forward a new pressure prediction model that is based on Yacheng 26 block and is quite different from traditional methods, for instance, single well point formation prediction and the applications of a geological model and 3D geological stress simulation method for the construction of the body in target area are proposed either, which can provide accurate three pressure profiles for a single well before driling and credible pressure prediction for YC26-2-1 well drilling and reservoir protection. This article combined the geological and drilling engineering closely. The 3D formation pressure prediction method in this paper can offer positive significance for multi-mechanism formation pressure predict of monitoring work with drilling in YingQiong basin.
