The electric field between conical inclined conductor boards is firstly analyzed under 3 models by quasi-static method. The results for these models are compared. In the second part, the excited fields by a vertical electric dipole that is not centrally located in GTEM cell are examined. Approximate expressions of gaps field are formulated through integral function under the assumption of small gaps between inner conductor and outer conductor. The field distributions excited by the electric dipole are deduced through gaps field. In the third part, the formulas for correlation of GTEM cell to open area test sites emission measurements are rewritten in this paper, deduced from the Wilson抯 and Lee抯 methods. The application condition of the formulas is pointed. The measurements proceed, data collection and store are automatic controlled by computer in the experiments. The experimental results with 18 frequencies are introduced and comparison for these two methods is made. The results indicate that it is hopeful to do EMI test in GTEM cell. At last, a new method ?linear method is examined for recovery of the electric and magnetic dipole moments.
