The tissue culture of six China emphasis protection Pteridophyte Platycerium alcicorne.Cibotium barometz,Phyllitis scolopendrium,Alsophila spinulosa,Alsophila denticulata and Isoetes sinensis are studied. The introduction culture of 27 adorn pteridophyte are researched. They are Diplazium pinfaense,,Ctenitopsis sini,Nephrolepis auriculata,Blechnum orientale, Osmunda banksiifolia, Angiopteris fokiensis, Cibotium barometz, Humata tyermanni, Osmunda cinnamomea var. fokiense, Osmunda vachellii, Colysis pothifolia, Allantodia metteniana, Colysis hemitoma, Alsophila denticulata, Woodwardia prolifera, Dryopteris uniformis, Pteris longipes, Selaginella tamariscina, Pteris vittata, Pteris excelsa, Polystichum mayebarae, Pseudocyclosorus subochthodes, Adiantum capillus-veneris, Arachniodes rhomboidea, Asplenium normals, Cyrtomium balansae and Polypodiodes niponica. The vegetative propagation of 4 ferns Angiopteris fokiensis, Humata tyermanni, Woodwardia prolifera and Isoetes sinnensis are introduced. The spore propagation of 24 ferns are studied. They are Struthiopteris eburnea, Coniogramme japonica, Osmunda banksiifolia, Osmunda vachellii, Asplenium wrightii, Phyllitis scolopendrium, Pteris vittata, Pteris excelsa, Pteris cretica, Pteris dispar, Pseudocyclosorus subochthodes, Blechnum orientale, Athyrium iseanum, Microsorum fortunei, Polypodiodes niponica, Alsophila spinulosa, Alsophila denticulata, Cibotium barometz, Cyrtomium balansae, Arachniodes rhomboidea, Woodwardia japonica, Polystichum mayebarae, Angiopteris fokiensis, and Pteris multifida. Besides these, 21 ferns gametophyte development are researched. These ferns are from the ones of spores' propagation except Alsophila spinulosa, Cibotium barometz and Pseudocyclosorus subochthodes. The results show below:(1) The sporophyll of Platycerium alcicorne and the fist bud of Cibotium barometz are suited for tissue culture. They can become young sporophyte by means of green globe body (GGB) pathway or organogenesis pathway. The de^differentiation potency of the leaf of Isoetes sinensis is rather low, it cannot be cultured to sporophyte. The sterilize of Phyllitis scolopendrium and Alsophila spinulosa ss spores andAlsophila denticulata ss prclhalli umarethe key step of their tissue culture.(2) Among the 27 introduced ornamental ferns, Angiopteris fokiensis, Xibotium barometz, Humata tyermanni, Osmunda cinnamomea var. fokiense, Osmunda vachellii, Dryopteris uniformis,Pteris excelsa, Adiantum capillus-veneris, Platycerium bawallichii and Dryopteris championii have higher ornamental value. They can overwinter safely in Hangzhou so long as the temperature below zero in winter never last 1 week or more. Those ferns are worth exploiting in Hangzhou.(3) The pteridophyte Angiopteris fokiensis, Humata tyermanni, Woodwardia prolifera, hoetes sinnensis are suited for vegetative propagation .It is a quite good method for its simple and facility manipulation. All the ferns can be adopted vegetative propagation which have fat rhizome or stipula or petiole or rachis or bulbil or young buds.(4) The experiments of 24 species' spores propagation manifest these: Spore propagation is a economical method. The optimal temperature of spore's germination and gametophyte's development is 15-22℃.The spores cannot germinate and the gametophyte cannot develop sporophyte if the temperature is below 8℃ or is above 30℃. The best sowing period is between March and April. The spores can develop prothallium between 3 and 5 weeks in this period. The percentage of spore's germination is relevant to its intrinsic factors such as inheritance and vigour; It is also relevant to the extrinsic factors such as the temperature,the intensity of light and the humidity.The lowest percentage of spore germination is below 1 percent, but the highest is almost 100 percent. 30~50 percent of prothallium can develop sporophyte in suitable density of spores.(?The treatment of 50ppm GA3 can accelerate the germination of the spores, and the appearance of pro...
