In the earthquake-risistant design of structures, we need to know the greatest earthquake intensity that the structure will possibly encounter in its pre-determined service life . However, because of random nature of earthquakes should be defined , we can do nothing but to estimate the seismic threat that the structure will encounter in point of possibility . The analysis of seismic risk offers scientific basis for reducing seismic disaster , conducting disaster management and setting up anti-seismic defences for buildings . Using the geological structure features of the considered area and the data about ancient earthquakes, the deformation of the earth's crust ,the a fracture model is set up a seismic activity parameters are solved the place , intensity and frequency of future earthquakes are estnated.And , connected with the analysis of seismic risk based on area source model . combining an evaluation of seismic risk in Panjin area is given by determining seismic activity parameter for the design of the considered area , settingup its fortifying-level divided areas and establishing divisions for predicting the destructive degrees of an earthquake when sandy soil is liquidized .
