This dissertation presents the author's main contributions in the studies of the sea optical scatter channel by use of Monte Carlo simulation on the background of airborne oceanic submarine laser communication system. Physical and optical properties of physical constituents in sea optical scatter channel are studied and summarized. Inherent and apparent properties of sea are highlighted. The application of Monte Carlo method in simulation the transport of photons in multiple scatter media is discussed in detail. The optical channel models for airborne submarine laser communication are built. The multipath time spreading of signal pulse is studied. The waveform of received signals in receiver in submarine laser communication system is analyzed and simulated.Be based upon the studies of sea optical scatter channel by use of Monte Carlo simulation, the channel is described as a multipath routeway in this paper. The effect on the communications performance, created by the frequency selectivity decline caused by the multipath routeway, is worked over. The correlation bandwith of sea optical scatter channel is analyzed and quantified through the simulation on the computer. Finally, this thesis put forward the application of frequency diversity reception to the counteraction against the frequency selectivity decline in the airborne oceanic submarine laser communication system, and whose capability graph is educed through the simulation on the computer.
