Aspergillus oryzae, a kind of filamentous fungus, has been widely used in industrial production. So far, we don't know so much about its transcription mechanism. In this study, we reported that we had already cloned and sequenced six 5' upstream transcript regions of six genes in Aspergilllus oryzae. These six genes encoded Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase, Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase, Pyruvic kinase, Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, Pyruvic decarboxylase and Pyruvate dehydrogenase, respectively. All of these enzymes involved in the universal glycolysis pathway. In this stndy,we also had developed a new non-radioactive method of gel electrophoresis mobility-shift assay and successfully detected the potential protein binding region in the enolase gene's 5' upstream region of Aspergillus oryzae.
