The geological background in Liaohe Oil Field is so complicated with many faults, resulting in reservoirs of various types which include lithology reservoirs and structure reservoirs etc. The crude oil is further catalogued into light oil, heavy oil and high-pour point oil. The heavy oil consists of common heavy oil and super-heavy oil. All these lead to the complicated characteristics of Liaohe Oil Field. After three decades production, part of the oil fields in Liaohe have entered into water-injection period, some even into secondary recovery or tertiary recovery. The composite water-cut increases, the average single well oil production decreases and the unit oil production costs goes up, it is therefore necessary and important to study the features of water-flooded reservoirs, to establish the interpretation models for water-flooded zones and to improve the interpretation conformity of water-flooded zones in order to stablize the oil production and improve the integrated profit of the oil field. The development program differs due to abundant types of reservoirs and different geological characteristics. The water injection applies to reservoirs of light and high-pour point oil, cyclic steam stimulation applies to heavy oil reservoirs. Therefore, the water-flooded features become more complicated. The general interpretation methods don't fit it at all. The previous methods can't solve the problems encountered in the oil field development, most of which tend to work for light oil reservoirs or a specific area and are somehow instructive to the regional development of the whole oil fields.Based on the information of 25wells of drilling core data, 13 wells of lab analysis data, 78 wells of log data and relevant geological and oil testing data, the geological characteristics and development of the reservoirs are detailedly studied. The physical reservoir properties after water-flooding and water-flooded features are concluded. The interpretation models for water-flooded reservoirs are established. The log evaluation system generated with C++ has been tested in work stations. This evaluation system has been applied to the processing of 60 wells in the water-flooded area. The computed parameters are compared with core analysis values with an accuracy of industrial standard. The interpretation conformity rate reaches 88.8%, 2 percentage points up than before. Through the actual uses, the system proves to be liable, easy to operate, convenient and versatile. It provides a scientific evidence for the oil recovery.
