The Bariev chain is a Hubbard-like integrable model. It is relevant to high-Tc superconductivity, for there exists hole pair of Cooper type in this model. A generalized Bariev model for correlated hopping with a finite range hard-core repulsion is studied in this paper. Under the open boundary conditions, the particle degrees of freedom (charge part) of the one-dimensional Hamiltonian is diagonalized by the coordinate Bethe ansatz method, and then the spin degrees of freedom by the algebraic Bethe ansatz method and the reflection equations of open-boundary XXZ model. So, we obtain the eigenvalue of Hamiltonian and Bethe ansatz equations. Due to the hard core repulsion, the distribution function of electrons was compressed effectively. Thus, we hope the new model has different properties from the standard Bariev model with open boundary. Using results of this paper and thermodynamical Bethe ansatz method, one can study the thermodynamics of this model under open boundary conditions.
