In this paper, we study the problems on the existence and uniqueness and stability of periodic solutions and almost periodic solutions for a class of functional differential equations with infinite delay. At first, using fixed point theorem, we establish the sufficient conditions which guarantee the existence, uniqueness, uniform stability of periodic solutions for the equations. At the same time, as the special case of the equations, we also study the differential systems with bounded distributed delay and obtain some new results which extend and improve the results obtained by Peng Shiguo and Xie Xiangsheng[1] recently. Secondly, using fixed point method and Lyapunov functional, we establish the sufficient conditions which guarantee the existence, uniqueness, uniform stability, instability and global attractiveness of almost periodic solutions for the equations, so that we obtain some new results.
