Recently, with the development of GPS, many researchers pay attention to the real-time position for mobile users. In this paper, I emphasize the key technology in the aircraft's real-time positioning-the method to fix the integer ambiguity of GPS carrier phase. In the thesis, I introduce the theory and application of GPS carrier phase measurement, analyze the errors in the observation of GPS signal, study the ways to reduce these errors, specially for the error caused by multipath. The thesis studies the methods to resolve the integer ambiguity and pay more attention to the covariance method. Based on these theories, I propose a structure of GPS real-time position system tor aircraft, though aircraft is not available, the result of the test on car shows that the structure is applicable.
