Scientists always pursue high resolution and high contrast. Optical glass waveguides microcopy is a new promising technology based on SPM. The point of optical glass waveguides microcopy is detecting tiny object by waveguides field.Comparied with SPM, covering metal film with organic film, optical waveguides microcopy gains picture. This paper reviews the-state-of-the-art optical glass waveguides and presents prospective developments of the technology. In addition, the microcopy technology is briefly.In the paper, the general method analyzing the characteristics of Optical glass waveguides microcopy has been used to research the effect of chemic material on the lateral resolution. The main parts are as follows:1) At the base of the fabrication methods, the history of the microcopy technology are introduced in brief, the characteristics of microcopy technology are analyzed in order to reach the high lateral resolution.2) In terms of SPM, we analyzed the theory of ATR and the data of resolution at length.3) Analyzing the characteristics of magnetic field of ameliorated ATR. Two methods -the SPM method and the Optical glass waveguides microcopy are compared, which are good to how to improve the microcopy resolution. From material experiment, we can discover some advantages of Optical glass waveguides microcopy technology.
