Ultrasound technology has been widely used in many fields with the development of ultrasonics. In recent years, the mariginal subjects such as sono-chemistry and sonobiology have advanced rapidly apart from classic power ultrasound, wine ultrasound, ultrasound measurment, ultrasound medicine, ultrasound cleaning, and new results have corned out now and then.You can learn from the documents home and abroad that most of researchers in sonochemistry major in chemistry or related subject such as enviorment or water treatment, etal. Few people who major in acoustics take part in sonochemistry, so in past a few years, the purpose of sonochemistry was the high rate of synthesization and high degradation rate, and many researchers only take ultrasound as an auxiliary method.As for chemical reaction mechanism, unified explanation now is the act of ultrasound cavitation. As for the chemical reaction, no matter ultrasound synthesis, ultrasound catalysis or ultrasound degradation, the major motivity of them is the cavitation, and many acoustics references amount that ultrasound intensity and other parameters give rise to ultrasound cavitation, so research on ultrasound field and cavitation field in the chemical reactor especial the correlation between them is very important issue.In this text,according to home and abroad scholars's study on design of sonochemical reactor and parameters of ultrasound cavitation, I designed the sonochemical reactor cohered with transducers on its side wall, and study cavitation field and ultrasound field distribution by changing power and frequency ,and made research in absorption of different power and frequency ultrasound traveling in water, and especialy study the cavitation with different sound intensity.The efficient cavitation range with different frequency was given. Following work has been done in this text:1. Taking the rectangle diaphragm as the vibration element to catulate the theoretic value of sound field, and gave the theoretic distribution and the direction of ultrasound field, also forcasted the distribution of real sound field and cavitation field.2. With 27kHz's transducer radiation ,measuring the sound field and cavitation field in the reactor.3.With 37kHz's transducer radiation ,measuring the sound field and cavitation field in the reactor.4.Made analysis to the result of 2th step and 3th step,and gave the sound field and cavitation field distribution with different frequency, and also gave the approximate value of ultrasound attenuation discipline and the efficient ultrasound cavitation range in the reactor.The results of this research especial the relation between sound field and ultrasound cavitation field and cavitation rang in different frequency conditions will be significent for the design of high efficiency sonochemical reactor, also maybe can provide some thing for sonochemistry application in practical production.
