The world today is in the information age. People have more and more clearly realize that the material, energy and information are the three major elements that human society rely on for existence and development. It is the close combination of these three elements that constitutes the rich and varying kaleidoscopic universe. Compare with the traditional science which is central with the energy and material, the rising information science is different in that the information science invites information onto the stage of science. Thus it changed the structure, content and direction of the whole scientific development greatly, with a result of changing the prospect of scientific development, the mode of people thought. The broadly-defined technology of information system mainly includes the information obtaining technology (such as sensing, remote sensing technology, etc.), information processing technology, information transmission and control technology, etc. These technologies are interrelated, influence each other and become the most basic and necessary link and course in such the mankind is engaged in the information activity.Optical information processing technology refers to that the mankind changes, sorts out, discerns, processes, puts in order, stories and produces etc ,the specific information - the optics information, Over 90% message which a person receives in one day is optics message. So the importance of optics information processing technology is self-evident.Information processing of optics is really carried out on the optical information process system, the most basic key part is Fourier transform lens. Fourier transform lens is a complicated lens group, with which, we can realize optics signal's Fourier transform, obtain the frequency spectrum of the signal on the frequency spectrum plane of the system( Fourier varies the plane). People carry on signal's frequency spectrum's analyse, spatial filtering ,information processing( such as add and subtract, differential).Whether its performance is good or bad will directly influence the result of optical information processing. So every optical information processing worker extremely pays attention to his own Fourier transform lens' performance. This is the basic reason why we devoted ourselves to developing high-performance Fourier transform lens.From the perspective of the design theory of Fourier lens,the thesis combines with concrete experimental measure,analyzes theory of lens'design,removes the aberration,chromatic aberration.Besides, it experiments on spatial filtering and phase object test by lens system, image differentiation, etc. The lens has been produced and applyed in scientific research and national defence industry.People set it highly appraise with further study on it.It will have even more wider market and scientific research meaning.
