In this paper, we mainly discuss the properties of the Gauss beam laser. As shown in Fig.1, we present the Experimental setup: by rotating Fig. 1 the experimental setupthe angle between two polarimeter , we decrease the strength of the beamfrom the He-Ne laser; the length that the beam passes through is controlled bytwo totally reflected mirrors; finally, the beam enters into the CCD detectorwhich notes the signal of the Gauss beam and transfer it to computer to dealwith the data. The main contents in this experiment is to measure the directstrength curve of the Gauss facula at different transmission locations (theGauss facula and the corresponding strength curve at d=2.360m are shown in Fig. 2 the Gauss facula and corresponding strength curvefig. 2 ). Based on the measured data, we can get the diameter of the Gaussfacula at each measured location. Then as shown in Fig. 3, we can picturedout the diameter of the Gauss facula as a function of the transmission lengthof the Gauss beam. Finally, we can get the diffused angle of the Gauss beamin this experiment. In summary, by changing the transmission length of theGauss beam, we can get the direct strength curve of the Gauss facula atdifferent transmission locations, based on which we can picture out thediameter of the Gauss facula as a function of the transmission length of theGauss beam and obtain the diffused angle of the Gauss beam in thisexperiment.
