Having been exploited and injected water for 15 years , Shengping oilfield has encountered a lot of problems , which include the efficient of injecting water is low , the problem between wells and layers is complex and the difference between overall containing water is great , these problems can not be solved through conventional adjusting method .The author has studied the precise geological , flowing cell and made reservoir description more precisely , which can reflect the heterogeneity of reservoir , predict the reservoir and its distributing model , improve the interpretation accuracy of permeability and define the distribution of residual oil , all of these studies will guide the geologists how to exploit and adjust the oilfield efficiently . So , the paper has studied the precise geological description of Shengping oilfield , the workflow of the study is : the drawing and contrast of deposit cell , the establishment of well logging facies , the recognition and combination of micro-facies , the study of distributing character of sandstone , the study of heterogeneity character in the layers . Through the study , the author has established six kind of well logging micro-facies , which include the distributary channel , bursting channel , abandoning channel , main body sand , non-main body sand and distributary mud .Based on the study of sedimentary facies , the author has studied the flowing cell and distribution of residual oil , referring to the succeeded experience of flowing cell study from both domestic and other countries , in Shengping oilfield , the author has selected 8 parameters , which include effective permeability , effective sand thickness coefficient , permeability capacity , the ratio between sand and stratum thickness , lithology , size median , porosity and storage coefficient , to establish the standard of defining the flowing cell of reservoir and define five kind of flowing cells in the studying area , besides , the author has found out the factors that affect the distribution of residual oil and defined the possible distributing range of residual oil . All of the studies has provided the basis for further exploitation and adjusting of Shengping oilfield .
