In the course of analyzing bioelectricity, large numbers of data are generated in each step of operation. Meanings of these data are indirect and hard to understand. The basic meaning of visualization is to convert something sightless to visible. Using computer graphics and image processing technology, we can express the abstract meanings of these data in a direct way. And a large amount of information can be transferred very quickly by means of texture, transparence, contract and interactive operation. The application of visualization in bioelectricity analysis is helpful to process data and find the inner rule. Especially, applying it into the medical field, doctors can make decision more effectively with the help of visible diagnosis results.The post-process of finite element method is used in the research of visualization in bioelectricity. During the course of finite element analysis, there are a lot of information to be processed and many results to be generated at the same time. Of course, some mature commercial software (such as ANSYS, MARC, PATRAN, etc.) can be used in data visualization of finite element analysis, but they are too expensive and can't be applied in real-time monitoring. Therefore, it is necessary for us to develop software to realize the visualization function in the bioelectricity dynamic detecting.The main works in this thesis are listed as follows:Study on the basic knowledge of visualization in bioelectricityProbe into the post-process of finite element analysisStudy on technical literature of operation system and software developmentStudy the literature of graphics and image processingSelect the scheme for this system on the basis of study on technical literature of the visualization method Design and develop the software with VC++ and OpenGL. The software includes data communication, data processing, visualization and interactive interface and can run independently on the Windows 2000 operation system.All these studies go well. The software has been worked out and the standard is reached, that is, good basis for the future development is well established.
