The Analysis Of The Temperature Fronts In The East China Sea

The temperature front generally is the sound velocity front in sea. The sea sound velocity front can refract the sound, so affect the work of sonar. The temperature fronts appear often and widely in the East China Sea, study on the characters of the temperature fronts in the East China Sea is valuable for the navy. In this article The statistics analysis of the temperature front in the East China Sea is carried out, the following works are done. The large amount observed temperature data in the East China Sea are collected and quality controlled. With these data, the error of the numerical simulation of the temperature front in the East China Sea is analyzed, the results indicates that the numerical simulation is successful. The statistics analysis is done on the result of the numerical simulation, the distribution and variation of the temperature fronts in the East China Sea are discussed, and the three dimensional structure and its seasonal variation of temperature front is described.
