| Optical information processing technique has been well developed since the appearance of Laser technology, and has become an important part of modern information processing technology. In this thesis, the theory of optical information processing is introduced; then the Fourier spectrum of some binary screens is discussed; some experiments about the ways of producing special wavefronts by using binary screen, especially using two narrow slits screen, a wide slit screen and a narrow slit screen has been designed; the special wavefronts are given including Bessel functions and 1D optical signals, which shows that the results of the theory and experiments are identical. At the same time, the software that can simulate the 2D Fourier transform spectrums and produce the computed - generated holograms is programmed. Finally, some problems encountered in the experiments are discussed. |
