In the process of many industry producing and science experiments, the measurement of parameters in gas-liquid two phase flow is a difficult problem in dire need to settle but still not well done. The velocity is an important parameter in the research of two phase flow. In the area of velocity measurement, gas velocity has been settled by some certain means. But the local velocity of liquid is still hard to measure. The main difficulty is how to generate and collect the tracer signal that can represent the liquid. So the research of measurement for liquid local velocity has a big significance to impulse the experiment research of two phase flow and the research of theory.Aiming at the difficulty, author designed a conductance probe that could be used in measurement of liquid local velocity, and the cooperative instrument to monitor the conductance signal was designed too. The probe concluded a set for injecting tracer electrolyte. For install the probe expediently, a connect set was designed. Using this probe, liquid local velocity of certain area along the radial in the pipe can be measured. The measurement principle, capability illustration and debug means of the micro-conductance measurement instrument was introduced. Based on the micro-conductance measurement instrument, the measurement system and experiment system was designed. The program of data collecting was developed by VC language, it conquered the localization of collecting frequency and settling velocity that existent. Experiment was done in the condition of bubbling flow, the data was collected and the correlativity analyze was done after some certain steps of data settlement, then liquid local velocity and the distribution of velocity in the pipe could be achieved. Data processing and error-analyze were done then. Measurement research on different conditions of the experimental system declared it is a satisfied measurement method. At last, some ameliorate ideas were present about the optimize of the probe design, measurement system and the data processing system.
