Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) is an effective decision method which combines with qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. It has been applied to many fields. With the development of AHP theory and the actual requirement of applications, the ideas of fuzzy mathematics are introduce to AHP theory and there forms a new theory method-Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(FAHP). The research of FAHP is an important question for discussion in recently years. This paper choices the scale system and ranking method of FAHP to study and discuss.The main content and achievement of this paper are as follows:Chapter 1 analyzes the forming background, character and the exiting problems of FAHP. It also simply introduces the basic principle, process, research status quo and the development trend of FAHP.In chapter 2, fuzzy scale system theory is discussed and a new scale is given. The given scale is supplement and enrichment the scale system theory.In Chapter 3 and 4, the ranking methods of the reciprocal and complementary judgment matrix with triangular fuzzy numbers are discuses. The existing methods for ranking alternatives based on the reciprocal and complementary judgment matrix with triangular fuzzy numbers are presented. Then, three new ranking alternatives are proposed.Chapter 5 discuss some problems on fuzzy consistent judgment matrix of FAHP. The methods which can change fuzzy judgment matrix to fuzzy consistent judgment matrix are given. Then the consistency adjusting is studied. At last, The rank preservation for adding new elements is discussed with regard to consistent complementary judgment matrix.In the end, this paper is summarized.
