In this paper, the author describes a simple model of Multitude Data Source's Spatial Information Sharing bases on Geography Markup Language (GML) raised by OGC. In this model we give the structural expression and storing of GIS data in GML format, and we can share spatial information on Internet or Intranet by the metadata navigation. This paper discusses the background knowledge of Spatial Information Sharing such as the feature and structure of spatial data, the importance of metadata and the different way of spatial data management, and also this paper introduces the Open GIS Consortium Inc and its abstract specifications. This paper explains the reason to select GML specification by introducing the history and kernel technique of GML.The important work and innovational ideas are following: (1) Researching the problem of Spatial Information Sharing and giving a simple model bases on GML to resolve the problem.(2) Using Oracle RDBMS to store the spatial information as the data server of this Sharing model.(3) Designing the structure of metadata to feature the GIS data and navigation network sharing.(4) Designing a framework of java classes to describe the objects of GIS. In a word, this paper proposing a simple mode bases on GML specification to resolve the Multitude Data Source's Spatial Information Sharing problem and giving the method to implement this model step by step.
