Spectral analysis is an important method of optical analysis. It is widely used in modern scientific experiments, biological research, medical science & medicine study, industrial and agricultural production, national defense, astronomy observation, and etc. This paper is devoted to the exact and real-time detection and recognition of the laser pulse signal in the spectra between 400 and 1700nm. This thesis is organized as follows: The first part is the design of a high-speed CCD spectral signal acquisition system based on PCI bus, including the design of the hardware, the driver and the application software, using PCI9054 I/O accelerator to access and control the PCI, developing the driver under the Windriver environment. The second part is to introduce an IGA spectral signal acquisition system based on GPIB interface, which is communicated with the computer by using a special PCI-GPIB card produced by NI Co.. The third part is to suppress the background clutter and enhance the target by the methods of frame subtraction and background prediction on the basis of the analysis of the spatial and temporal property of the target and the background, to eliminate the remanent Gaussian noises using higher-order cumulant, and to accomplish the detection and recognition of pulse spectral signal.
