Seismic waves traveling through the earth will be attenuated because of the anelasticity of the media. An effective Q compensation is necessary when an usual seismic processing is taken on,Which makes us known of atteuation factor of stratum. The attenuation models for P-wave and converted wave are based on attenuation theories of media in the paper. Methods of spectral ratio,CMP gathering before stacking and centroid frequency shit are respectively used to inverse Q value.Comparsion inversion Q value with theorical Q value and application of noise indicate that three methods can better inversion Q fator of P-wave and converted wave. But method of centroid frequency shit is a best inversion method because too big erroe can not bring out even though single wavelet occur aberration. Amplitude attenuation tomography is based on seismic ray tracing by using linear traveltime interpolation .The model testifies that attenuation factor and abnormal Q can be well tomography from it,which provide an efficient method to prospect gas and oil.
