Delay differential equations are often utilized to scribe many natural phenomena and applied to many fields such as physics ,biology, and ecology. So it is significant to investigate the delay differential equations. This paper includes three chapters. We mainly consider the existence of positive solutions of the following delay differentialequationand neutral differential equationIn the second chapter, we utilize the genelized characteristic equation associated with (1) to establish the comparision results for positive solutions of the differential inequalities and equations, then study the existence of positive solutions of (1). and obtain the following main Theorem 2.3.1.Theorem 2.3.1 Suppose that the solution of eqn(I) through (t0.φ) remains positive. The existence of positive solutions of the equation-the two special forms of eqn( 1)andare studied in [1], and obtain the following several nonoscillation results for them. Theorem A Suppose that and supposethat Thenfor the solution x(φ)(t) of eqn(3) through (t0,φ) remains positive, where Theorem B Suppose that K ∈ C(R+,R+), and let T > 0 be such that K is not identical zero on [0,T] and suppose thatThen there exists a solution x of eqn(4) which is positive on [0, oo) and which satisfies...
