Nuclear factor-κB( NF-κB ), an important transcription factor, usually leads to nuclear translocation and results in activitation of diverse target gene expression, when it is activated by multiple stimulants. The target gene of NF-κB, in general, include those of the cytokine, the adhesion molecule, and the inducible nitric oxide synthase, and so on, all of which play pivotal role in the chronic and acute inflammatory diseases, the autoimmunity diseases, various kinds of cancerous diseases. It is, thus, that NF-κB is becoming a more and more important target for the development new therapeutic methods in the biomedicine field. In the earlier studies of our laboratory, it was found that NF-κB activitation also played an important role in perfluoroisobutylene( PFIB ) inhalation induced acute lung injury( ACI), and on the basis of this kind of research, an idea that the screening of specific combinatorial moleclules to NF-κB might be an effective method with therapeutic value in the treatment of toxic gas inhalation induced ACI.Phage display technique is one of the most effective techniques available in targeting various molecules, it has been widely used in the field of the protein structure determination, the analysis of antigen epitopes, the preparation of artifical antibodies, and the reasearches of the inhibitors for various cytokines, as well as the signal transduction system studies in cells. In fact, exciting progress have already been made by this technique. In the current study, the gene of NF-κB p65 subunit was obtained and expressed...
