Diamond is attracted by all circles with high strength, high hardness and high wearability, etc., used widely, but it has fragility, when assaulting, it apts to produce crackle even break, which makes diamond drilling method limitedly, do benefit to rotary drilling, is not suitable for percussive drilling. And the routine tungsten carbide's wearability is not high, but its percussive toughness is better, the hardness is relatively high, only suitable for drilling the hard following stratum in geological drilling. Combine the advantages of diamond and tungsten carbide, develop various super hard composite both at home and abroad. U.S.A. developed complexus ( Compax and Stratapax).West Germany , British , France , Belgian , Swedish country obtain the patent too in developing super hard material. The superhard material research institute of the former Soviet Union Ukraine academy (ISM) succeeded in developing Slavutich in 1967. Slavutich is one super hard material, it is one super hard complexus which made up of tungsten carbide powder and diamond particle with containment vessel. It uses to be natural diamond in initial stage, and then turns to the artificial diamond slowly. It compares with the natural diamond in wearability and intensity. Its cost is relatively low with PDC. The working layer of PDC is full of Diamond. And Slavutich'is quarter and three quarters. Slavutich'processing is convenient than PDC'. Processing PDC is complicated processing, require processing equipment much, it suppress in high temperature, high-pressure device (six carry or two sides carry diamond press), it need tungsten carbide precompaction piece, metal tube, metal thin slice, leaf cured stone tube, graphite tube etc. Processing equipment of Slavutich is simple, processing in vacuum hot pressing stove. Compared with tungsten carbide, its wearability is more than 100 times of tungsten carbide. Through the analysis and studying of this text, have drawn the following main conclusion 1. This text analyse that broken rock of Slavutich is mainly cutting with abrasive and pressure crack and crush. According to the different rocks, the drilling method is different Analysis wearing mechanics of Slavutich. 2. Have analysed the fabrication process of Slavutich: choice of form and size of Slavutich, form is three round slice (the first layer'thick is0. 5mm; the second layer'thick is 1~1.5mm; the third layer'thick is 3mm), the diameter is 12mm, height is 4. 5mm;The research of filling a prescription, replace Co as the binder after adding Ni element part, there is P element that plays a role in reducing temperature; Design of the mould; Frit technological process, including pretreatment technological design, mix batching design, assembly of mould, stove and frit; Define the frit processing parameter, frit pressure is 8KN, frit temperature is 1050 degrees Centigrade, temperature retention time is 5min. 3. Have analysed frit mechanics of Slavutich. Frit mechanics of Slavutich is typical liquid phase frit as same as tungsten carbide, which carried on under the circumstances that the liquid phase exists. It move on the basis of material that liquid phase flow than firm to spread reason that accelerate notably, and diffusion coefficient of atom in liquid phase, so the interface and particle move is faster than firm. Because of reason these, within short time too apt to receive Slavutich of high density and mechanical performance. Adding Ni, P element has activated the function of fritting. The eutectic temperature between two yuan alloy of Ni-P is low, much lower than the eutectic temperature of WC-Co, So adding to Ni, P element in the Slavutich power, frit system can appear liquid phase in the lower temperature, which make Slavutich'particle reorder. Solution and precipitation of firm particle and formation of firm skeleton happen ahead of time. So it can make the liquid phase frit three pieces of stage function of the course more sufficiency, have improved density and physics mechanics performance of Slavutich effectively. 4. Performance test result of Slavutich indicate its parent hardness is high 2-3 HRA than tungsten carbide's; The wearability of Slavutich superior to tungsten carbide greatly, it is more than 100 times of the tungsten carbide; Have good resisting and assaulting performance, totally respond to the request that rotary drilling in the stratum of coal field in theory, thus solve the problem that the super hard material of tradition resists the performance of striking low. 5. The indoor test of Slavutich indicate, have kind wearability, can meet the rotary drilling in coal field geology, result relative tungsten carbide efficiency take a high one large, the wearability improves to some extent.
