Research And Development On Mark IV Software Decoder

The principle and function of the Mark IV decoder is introduced in this thesis. Mark IV decoder is an important instrument which can provide data quality analysis and extract phase calibration tone from data streams. Design of software Mark IV decoder with computer technology is a new direction which is easy to develop , short at expenditure and capable to upgrade. In the first two chapter of the thesis, the principle and function of VLBI (Very Long Baseline Interferometry) and Mark IV system are introduced. Then, in chapter 3 , the Mark IV decoder is studied. Chapter 4, the most import part, includes the research on how to develop a software decoder with computer technologies. The last part of this thesis draw an conclusion of the software decoder.
