As we known,flood is badly endangering people's lives and weath,so effective and accurate forecasting is a very important research subject,which has a pretty strong academic and practical meaning.With the development of social production and improvement of the scientific engineering,existing research ways are difficult to the requst improved.They cannot solve the problems that are faced properly.So,in order to know the law of grasping better,improve predicting and flood forecast level of the runoff,people look for the new theory and method to study and probe the water resouce of hydrology system constanty.On the basis of studying the original method,kinetic flux vector splitting(KFVS)will be used to flood forecasting field of the runoff in this paper.It can be expected to solve the complicated problems, which is difficult to solve by existing methods.It also may inaugurate a new of research. At the beginning of the thesis,the development of flood forecasting theory is review-ed,and the fundamental principle and mathematical models of Cellular Automata(CA) are introduced. Then the developing,principle and method of KFVS are summarized. The chapter introduces the KFVS for solving the compressible inviscous gas-kinetic equations and 1-dimensional shallow water equations,and present the numerical simulation. The novel research on the method of flood rooting is the emphases in this thesis.On the basis of the last chaper, through a construction of a distribution function,the normal form of KFVS is deduced based on the nocollision Boltzmann equation.In view of the situation that there aren't volume data but water level data in some stations of Qing Jiang, KFVS is introduced in flood routing,a model which takes rainfall into account is established and developed according to pratyical situation.One method of adding water level to the input helps to develop the theory of KFVS and raise the model's forecast.The result shows that it is effective.
