River side well field, due to its advantages in water quantity and quality, is widely used for water supply in most regions in our country, and a proper assessment of groundwater resource is the key to its well operation. Currently, common assessing methods include: numerical simulation, hydro-dynamic resolution, electric-network simulation and water balance method etc. . Numerical simulation method is applied more widely for its advantages in convenience and flexibility to complex hydrogeological conditions. In this thesis, numerical simulation method was used to evaluate groundwater resource in a riverside well field and predict trend of groundwater level, therefore provide important basis for properly exploitation and scientifically management of groundwater resource. Taking a riverside well field in Luanhe River valley, the thesis used groundwater simulation software GMS to simulate groundwater flow. Firstly, by discussing applicability of river package in MODFLOW, compute method of river in the model was determined; then according to real condition of simulation area, numerical model was established to predict groundwater flow field under designed pumping scheme and evaluate groundwater resource under natural and pumping conditions; finally, based on this determinate model, combined with uncertainty of conductivity and specific yield, stochastic model of parameter was established and run, and get stochastic solution with statistical meanings. The simulation result shows: under designed pumping scheme, groundwater level in the well field will decline gradually in the future, with no appearance of groundwater cone of depression in large scale; induced infiltration of river takes main part of the pumping water, and the well field is stable with pumping rate ensured; groundwater availability is 698.8×10~4m~3/a; The stochastic model of parameters, combined determinate model and uncertainty of parameters together, can reflect the impact of parameter randomicity on simulation result, the compute process of which is more scientific and reasonable. It enriches the content of numerical simulation study, and provide basis of parameter stochastic simulation for risk analyses of groundwater pumping decision-making.
