With the development of manned space flight and aeronautics, the technical requirements for heat protection material and thermal barrier coating, etc., are increasingly enhanced. As these materials go on high-temperature environment, it is very important to investigate the mechanical properties of these materials under high temperature conditions. The present work introduced the newly developed uniaxial tensile test system for measuring mechanical properties of film materials, ISDG method is used to measure the strain of the sample and the stress-strain curved can be derive from the initial loading to the fracture. It is almost the first time in our country to obtain the whole stress-strain curves in the different parts of the welding materials. The soften phenomena of the temperature-affected part is clearly found by the comparison of the young's modulus and the yield stress between the melted part and the temperature-affected part of the welding materials.Based on the above work, high-temperature test scheme is designed and validated by testing the thermal loading and the measurement control system.
