Study On Comprehensive Evaluation Support System Based On B/S Pattern

Comprehensive evaluation is a complex problem, because it covers a wide knowledge range and the evaluation problem is also complex. Besides, this process contains a lot of data and calculates. Therefore, it is necessary to build a comprehensive evaluation support system to help valuators.Until now, the research on evaluation system is not only limited, but also lack of the ability of utility and supports. Firstly, comprehensive evaluation is complex system engineering, but the valuators' experience and knowledge can't cover so wide range. So they need the system provide knowledge and experience to refer. Secondly, the number of evaluation method which proposed by the scholars has reached nearly a hundred. The system should have the ability of expansibility to add these new methods. Also, it should help users to understand and use the methods. Lastly, many evaluation problems can't be finished all by one person. They need multiple experts in related domains. The system designed in local computer is obviously not convenient for too many people to use. So, a system built on web is very necessary. These three points above are the problems of the exited evaluation system and also, the problems that should be solved in this paper.In this paper, a Comprehensive Evaluation Support System Based upon B/S Pattern (ESS for short) is researched. It can be used to solve many problems, because it can accept most type of index systems and is assembled by many methods. Meanwhile, it can provide support to users during the whole process of evaluation, which makes the result more reasonable and credible. Besides, it is designed as B/S pattern. The language of Java, which is completely object oriented, and the J2EE platform make the system expansive and reusable.This paper describes the researches on the evaluation system firstly, and then describes the process of comprehensive evaluation at the second part. Here this paper proposes a new classification of the evaluation methods. In the third part, this paper researches the model of general using. And then it analyzes the requirement of users and designs support functions all by these requirements. These functions can help users to build and revise the index system, to choose and use a proper method, and also, to collect data and choose experts. Here, a new method of experts weight division which is based upon the domains of the experts and problems is proposed. Next, in the forth part, it is detailedly discussed that how to realize ESS, including the network framework, the applications, the design of database and the other modules. Here, a knowledge-base which can provide knowledge to users is designed. It is discussed at last that how to use ESS to evaluate the knowledge capital in a consulting company.
