Based on surveying the development present situation of low permeability reservoir and combining with Fuyu reservoir evaluation of peripheral Daqing oilfield, uses petroleum geology theory to research geology background, tectonic system, tectonic feature, sediment system and reservoir characteristic of southern Putaohua field. This paper analyses geologic characteristic and sedimentary facies of region of research, and then classifies reservoir into four microfacies, just as distributary channel, underwater distributary channel, interchannel thin sand body and interchannel sludge,. Channel sand body and interchannel thin sand body are main sand body. According to content and combination of heavy mineral and distribution of formation thickness, it preliminary confirms that sedimentation of region of research are chiefly controlled by two sediment system. Based on above, this paper also researches the main influential factor of development effect by comparing Pu31 test area's the development effect with Pu462's.The result indicates that influential factor of development effect are the size and growth extent of channel sand body, low value of permeability and crude petroleum characteristic, especially the two former ones. It establishes electrical property classification criteria of reservoir quality evaluation by using assaying, test and production information in the paper. It also analyses the influential extent of each factor to find the main one, then forecasts the beneficial development field and enhances the producing reserves. The results are effective practically.
