The dynamic characteristics of a sensor is the sensor's responsecharacteristics with the input that changed according to the time. And infrequency domain it is normally describes by the frequency responsefunction. The frequency response range is always limited, especially isthe main factor of the frequency response of the system. When thedynamic characteristics of a sensor are not ideal, such as non-smoothnessof the amplitude-frequency characteristic, non-linearity of thephase-frequency characteristic, we can only get the distorted outputsignals via the test system so that the reliability of the measured signal isreduced. As a result, it is vital to improve the dynamic characteristics of asensor. This paper has researched the dynamic characteristics of model 941B inbase of the technology of the dynamic characteristics compensation. Andthe compensated system can expand its frequency band. Also, it includesexperimental research and simulation research.Firstly, the mathematical model of 941B's dynamic characteristics isset. In the paper the dynamic compensation units improving the dynamiccharacteristics of the system are designed redisposing zero-pole pointsthrough analyzing influence of the location of zero-pole points on thedynamic characteristics.Secondly, in the paper a digital filter is designed to expand thefrequency band of the sensor according to the zero-pole pointscompensation method. With the simulinking in the MATLAB, this papercompares the compensated results of transient response of model 941B inthe different durations for single half sine wave, single square wave and asuperposing signal of three different frequency with those ofpre-compensating. And the compensated low frequency characteristicmeets the requires of the system. Finally, the digital filter is implemented in a DSP system and theresults are consistent with those in the MATLAB.
