Analysis On Karyotype Of Alces Alces Cameloides

Alces follows in its evolution the pattern of other ice age mammals, if arises in the late Pliocene from a small ancestor, by invading climatically progressively, more hostile environment. In Europe Alces alces appears in the Riss glaciation, and is found in late Wisconsinian times in Alaska;it appeared in southern North American with megafaunal extinctions and remained. Recent research have a new attention, that is A.a.cameloides. Firstly they are facing a possibility of extinction because of terrible hunting pressure. More important thing is the divergence on the evolution and taxonomy status of A.a.cameloides. Recently, through the development of the Cell and Molecular Biology we have more theory and technique to investigate. Chromosome technology has already been used in the Alces research. The dissertation did the analysis on the karyotype of A. a. cameloides.The research thought about the status of A. a. cameloides and experiment conditions to choose the experiment animals, material and methods.The research did the cell culture with blood germ-free samples of two animals and got the chromosome.For staining of the preparation conventional Giemsa was used. And the karyotype of A. a. cameloides was analyzed.At last the dissertation posed some personal thought about the taxonomy status of A. a. cameloides.
