Under the guidance of new principles and methods of Carbonate Sedimentology, Reservoir Geology and Diagenesis, making the best use of information about the core, geology logging, log and outcrop, Through macroscopical and microcosmic means subdividing stratum over again, this thesis has expatiated sedimentary pattern and the main type characters of sedimentary facies systematacially. On the basis of structure, component type and character analysis of rock, this thesis has also indicated this area is the sedimentary environment of gulf and lagoon as a whole. Moreover, the unique sedimentary character of inner plateau, which have developed underwater and highland in Kekeya-Wuluke, has been indicated by introducing the concept of "platform plateau" in this thesis. What's more, this thesis has brought forward that structure nowadays has rudiment in the period of Kalataer and controlled the sedimentary pattern in this area. By the contrastive analysis of sedimentary facies and sedimentary background in this area, this thesis has pointed out regional sediment exhibition features of different periods and established realistic growth, portfolio model of sediment facies of different periods. By the characteristic description of container rock, on the basis of analyzing the main reservoir factors of controlling high quality facies belt distribution, diagenesis, tectonism and etc, this thesis has pointed out platform inner beach and platform plateau subfacies affected by atmosphere and freshwater is remunerative reservoir facies belt, established the evolutive mode of dolomite reservoir and conceptive model of reservoir development in this area, also predicted favorable development horizon and region distribution of reservoir. Therefore, this thesis provides credible geological thereunder for carbonate rock oil and gas field exploration and exploitation of palaeogene system Kalataer Group in this zone.
