It is important to study the migration and accumulation character of middle -shallow formations fault and the regularity of oil and gas pool-forming to the petroleum exploration, since lots of oil pool was concerned with faults in Dongying depression. Guided by a variety of theories and technologies, the migration and accumulation character of middle -shallow formations fault and the regularity of oil and gas pool-forming in Dongying depression were studied. The impulsive activity of the faults induced the impulsive migration of oil and gas, and the faults system was divided into direct oil source faults and indirect oil source faults, the former were the faults which connected with source rock directly and the latter were the faults which connected with source rock by means of sandstone and unconformity face. The active intensity of faults was estimated by the fall head analyzing method, the results shown that the stronger the expulsion intensity of hydrocarbon were, the easier the accumulating in middle-shallow sandstone around the direct oil source faults will; the stronger the injection intensity in direct oil source faults were, the easier the accumulating in middle-shallow sandstone around the indirect oil source faults will. The accumulation efficiency was estimated by means of period matching and expulsion intensity of hydrocarbon. The direct oil source faults were carved up 2 grades and the indirect oil source faults were carved up 3 grades. The first grade is most favorable to petroleum accumulation. The motivity of migration (overpressure, seismic pumping) was determined, and according to this, the pressure decline formula was given out. Because of the existence of the top face, the migration in faults was completely different with the increasing of the depth. The result of modeling experiment emphasized that the thickness, porosity and...
