The Finite Volume(FV) Method is widely used in Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) with its remarkable advantages such as the simplicity for programme, the agility when treating with complex geomatry and the property of conservation of the scheme itself. The Perturbational Finite Volume(PFV) Method which is based on the traditional FV method is a newly developed method with higher accuracy and resolution in CFD computation. In this article, the PFV Method is used as the numerical method to solve the capture of dynamic surface problem. The contents of the research are as follows,(1)Firstly, take the fundamental governing equations of fluid mechanics, the Navier-Stokes equations, as the starting point, the basic idea of Finite Volume Method is briefly introduced. Then, the Perturbational Finite Volume Method is developed under the background of the traditional FV Method. Also, a computer program to get the PFV formula is given.(2)Secondly, Level Set Method, a popular method for the capture of dynamic surface, is introduced. With several numerical experiments, the validity of the Level Set Method is confirmed, which paves the way for later applications.(3)Finally, The PFV Method, coupled with the Level Set Method, is employed to solve the dynamic surface problems in two-phase flows. Some numerical results of the dynamic surface problems are presented.
