In recently 20 years, Membrane separation technology, as a high science and technology, has developed rapidly. But at present, the chemical method of purification and concentration of tetrodotoxin has lots of disadvantages such as complex technique, low returns-ratio, time-consuming and hard sledding. It is high time that Hi-tech downstream procession replaced traditional Post-processing technique. In the paper, the processes of microfiltration (MF), ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO) in tetrodotoxin were studied in first stage experiment with flat membrane and first stage experiment with spiral membrane. Main results shown as follows:The pretreatment processes of membrane separation technology of tetrodotoxin were studied and the optimal processing conditions were as follows: the processes of first stage experiment with flat membrane were that acetic acid extracted, protein was removed by heating, filter paper filtered, and G5 filtered; the processes of first stage experiment with spiral membrane were that acetic acid extracted, filter paper filtered and 1μm filter bag filtered. In the experiment of first stage experiment with flat membrane in the purification and concentration of tetrodotoxin, results shown that operation press was 0.22Mpa in the processes of ultrafilteration. Removing ration of impurity was 23.5% through 20000 ultrafiltration and rejection of retention of tetrodotoxin was 5.2%. Removing ratio of impurity was 21.5% through 10000 ultrafilteration and rejection of retention of tetrodotoxin was 6.7%. Operation press was 1.2Mpa in the processes of nanofiltration. In the press of 1.2Mpa, the flux of 90-polyamide was 1.44 L·m-2·h-1 .
