The Late Palaeozoic And Early Triassic Depositional System And Lithofacies Paleogeographic Recovery In Luoyang-Yichuan In The West Of Henan Province

Studying on the lithologic features and spatial variation of the Late Palaeozoic and Triassic stratum in Luoyang and Yichuan area, parting the observed section, paralleling the strata, building the stratum shelf ,clarifying the statum's regularities of development and distributionthe by field observation, data analysis of sampling with and drawing lessons from predecessors' research. Studying on the depositional facies and depositional system of the objected stratum sections, we identify five depositional systems: epicontinental sea-carbonate platform depositional system, barrier island depositional systems, delta depositional systems, lacustrine depositional systems, fluvial depositional systems; By analysising every depositional espoid's isopach ,the distribution of coarse material, paleocurrent, regional correlation of the depositional facies and depositional systems which identified from the observed sections and drawing lessons from predecessors' research, we recover every espoid's lithofacies paleogeographic and analysis the development of the depositional environment from late Palaeozoic to early Triassic.
