As part of North China Coal-accumulate Area,Tengxian coalfield, which locates in the south-west of Shandong Province, is one of the most important coal-producing and coal-related industry bases. For the empty of systematic and comprehensive reseach on the faunal and flora characteristic and the subdivision and correlation in the Late Paleozoic Coal-bearing strata in Tengxian coalfield, this study was aimed at the microfossil and the solution of Carboniferous-Permian boundary of the study area. Two Conodonts assemblages were set up( in dicending order, the same to the after) :II Streptognathodus elegatulusS. wabaunsensisS. barskovi assemblageI Idiognathodus magnificus-Streptognathodus parvus assemblage. Two Fusulinida assemblages were set up: Sphaeroschwagerina assemblage and Fusulina-Fusulinella assemblage.Four Foraminiferal assemblages were set up : III Geinitzina postcarbonica assemblage, II Multidiscus planispiralis-Glomospira assemblage and I Bradyinar Palaeotextularidae assemblage were belonged to Taiyuan Formation, Bradyina guangxiensis assemblage was beared in Benxi Formation.Four Sporopollen assemblages were set up according to the vertical distribution and content variety:IV Triquitrites-Macrotorispora-Anticapipollis assemblageIII Torispora-Patellisporites assemblageII Gulisporites cochlearius-Sinulatisporites sinensis assemblage I Crassispora-Laevigatosporites-Florinites assemblage.Detailed contrast on biotic assemblages between multi-typical sections in North China and South China and this study area was done, and the geologic era of biotic assemblages of Tengxian coal-bearing strata were deduced. Carboniferous-Permian boundary of the study area was placed at the bottom of NO. 11...
