For knowing the adaptation of karst plants to karst Environment,one-year seedings of 3 Calcicolous trees(Eurycorymbus cavaleriei (Levl.) Rehd.et Hand.-Mazz.,Platycarya longipes Wu, Kmeria septentrionalis Dandy)and one Calcifugous tree(Camellia oleifera Abel)are studied by experiments of osmotic stress, using different(0,10%,20%,30%)concentration of PEG-6000. The papers analyze the variation of physiological and biochemical indexes to study their drought- resistant ability, and analyze the variation of physiological and biochemical indexes of the seedings, which are osmotic stressed by 20% PEG-6000 after being dealed with different(0,10,20,40,80mmol·L-1)concentration of CaCl2 for 48h to study the effect of Ca2+ on their drought-resistant ability. The results are as following:1. Being drought stressed, 4 trees feedings'relative water content reduce, SOD and POD activities have trends of first increase and following decrease, MDA content, plasma membrance permeability and Proline Content increase, Soluble protein Content decrease. Being Compared their variation of physiological and biochemical indexes, Calcicolous tree and Calcifugous tree are different. Calcicolous trees physiological and biochemical indexes variations are unobvious after short time of being drought stressed and being osmotic stressed at Low concentration of PEG-6000. But the variation will increase hardly with improving of PEG-6000 concentration and prolonging of time. While Calcifugous tree physiological and biochemical indexes varies gradually.2. Acording to the basia of Correlation coefficients of each index with plasma membrance permeability, relative water content, SOD activity, contents of MDA,proline and soluble protein are selected to be used as the data of Fuzzy Function and the integrative drought-resistance values of 4 trees. The results show that 4 seedings'sequence of the comprehensive drought-resistance capability (DA) is: P. longipes > K. septentrionalis > E. cavalerei > C. oleifera.
