Screening And Identification Of Marine Microorganisms For Antimicrobial Activity From Bohai

At the different temperature, pH and concentration of nutrient, 87 strains of marine bacteria, 127 strains of molds and 14 strains of actinomyces were isolated from Bohai.Escherichia coli and Staphyloccus aureus were used as sensitive bacteria, fermented product of 87 strains of bacteria, which were fermented at 28℃, 160r/min, was detected by the method of Oxford Cup. The results showed that 28 strains of bacteria inhibited E.coli or S.aureus in different degree, 8 strains of bacteria inhibited the both, the antibacterial activity of strain A49 inhibiting E.coli and S.aureus was more significant than others. 8 species pathogenic fungi of plant such as Bipolaris maydis, Bipolaris sorokiniana, Verticillium dahliae, Fusarium oxysporum, Valsa mail, Phytophthoraparasiticavar nicotianae, Rhizoctonia solani and Aliernaria solani were used as sensitive strains, antifungi activity of 28 strains of bacteria, which inhibited E.coli or S.aureus, was detected by the method of Paper Disc Diffusion, but none of them inhibited 8 species sensitive fungi. According to Bergey's Manunal of Determinative Bacteriology, more studies had been done on strain A49 such as morphological, physiological and biochemical properties, and the results indicated that the strain A49 belongs to Bacillus. The 16S rDNA gene of the strain A49 was sequenced and the phylogenetic relationship among described bacillus.sp was further analysized. The results were corresponding to the classical identification, and the strain A49 was temporarily named Bacillus.sp A49.By the method of Bidirectional Culture, in 116 strains of molds, 41 strains of molds were found to inhibit 8 species sensitive fungi in different degree. 4 strains of molds which were coded as 18#, 32#, 40#and 67# showed correspondingly broad antifungi spectrum.
