Research For The Computer-Generated Dynamic Hologram

The aim of researching of the technology of 3D display was to give us a vivid world we lived in, which is used widely in areas of Arts, Entertainment, Medical Image, Training Simulator, Virtual Reality, CAD and CAM etc. Hologram may be the most promising one in various 3D display technologies, with which the wavefront emitted from the object can be recorded and reconstructed. The Digital Holography appeared with the appearance of Computer, it is a compound technique of computer, space light modulator, image manipulation and auto-matization control. This thesis presents a method, which combines digital holography and 3D shape measurement technique to realize the dynamic digital holography.Dynamic hologram is based on the principal as follows: 1.the basic theory of computer-generated hologram;2.the principle about acquirement of object beam distribution data from three-Dimensional shape measurement data of object;3. the theory about making dynamic hologram from the two-steps rainbow hologram;4. Using the conception of "stereoscopic hologram" theory to make one-step rainbow dynamic hologram;5.the theory to realize the Color Hologram.The main job of the thesis focuses on how to display a dynamic process with holography. Firstly ,the principal of ,the dynamic hologram was introduced. Then the effect of the dynamic digital hologram was proved by experiments. Lastly, do pilot study of true-color dynamic digital hologram.This thesis is composed of four parts. In the first chapter, the display holography, digital holography and the three-dimensional shape measurement technique were introduced, as well as the main job of this thesis. In chapter 2, the basic theory of Computer-Generated hologram was d iscussed. In chapter 3,the emphasis of the thesis,two methods of making dynamic hologram were presented.
