Research On Primary Application And Establishment Of Chinese Human Genetic Resources Description Criteria

Objective: To draft human genetic resources description criteria and standards of coding system. To design the project of Chinese human genetic resources information systems (HGRIS), study and utilize the human genetic resources information.(HGRI) Methods: The description criteria of the human genetic resources (HGR) and standard coding system were maped out. It formed the basic system of description criteria and standard for HGR. At the same time, the study designed the project of HGRIS. With the directing of description criteria and standard for HGR, the information of Chinese important human genetic resources information were collected and analyzed. We explored the sharing technique of HGRI, with some data of genetic resources information, and established the base for sharing and utilizing the HGRI. Results: 1,The description criteria were drafted which including The Common Description Criteria of HGR, the Specific Description Criteria of HGR and the Rules for the structure and drafting of Individuality Description Criteria of HGR. The project was accomplished for human genetic resources information system. 2, Establishing a databaseset that was make up of a body database and a lot of special topic databases. 158433 records of human genetic resources information were collected, which include 111425 common description records, 158433 specific description records and 35512 indiciduality description records. Some of important data was analyzed for new knowledge finding. 3, Distribution of AFP, hCG and uE3 levels in Chinese prenant women was calculated by analyzing 14642 cases. The body weight correction models were set up by curve regression estimating.
