Adaptive control problem of nonlinear systems is one of active fields in nonlinear control theory's research. In this paper, we studied the adaptive stable problems of two different type nonlinear systems. First,we considered the adaptive stability of time-deleyed nonlinear systems.Under the addition assumption, an adaptive controller is designed with Lyapunov function and Backstepping metheds.This controller can make the closed loop globally stable . Second,for an uncertain nonlinear systems with unknown control direc-tion,we proposed a robust adaptive backstepping scheme with σ—modification by introducing Nussbaum Gain and Backstepping methods. It is proved that all the closed-loop signals are bounded.
